Neil is possibly the worlds most recognised and influential Burlesque Photographer, shooting campaigns for Dita Von Teese and many other international headline artists. In this video he tells us stories of meeting, partying and photographing the legends. He tells about meeting Jennie Lee in 1990 and Dixie Evans, and the “calling” of Burlesque and explains the passion behind his huge collection of vintage Burlesque memorabillia.
Neil has been involved in the international Burlesque Community Since 1990 when he first went to the Burlesque Hall of Fame to meet Jennie Lee. He was the first Burlesque Artist to be featured at The Victoria and Albert in 2016 and has been voted the National Vintage Photographer of The Year. In 2015 he was the first European to be invited onto the Board at The Burlesque Hall of Fame due to his extensive knowledge of Burlesque History. His collection of Burlesque Memorabilia has travelled the world as a pop-up museum.
