The New York Times proclaimed her “One of the best in burlesque” and the London Daily Telegraph ran an article entitled “How I fell in Love with Dirty Martini” calling her “the queen of them all!”. She holds the title of The Reigning Queen of Burlesque – Miss Exotic World 2004 and has returned to Las Vegas to the Burlesque Hall of Fame to recreate dances of 1940’s burlesque stars in her own inimitable style. She has headlined many international burlesque festivals and maintains a busy touring schedule in the USA and abroad. She has made a splash in the UK performing on the Paul O’Grady TV Show and at London’s KoKo nightclub backed by an orchestra led by burlesque music pioneer, Barry Adamson. She was a guest star on Italy’s Lady Burlesque TV show and performed in Rome’s Teatro Olimpico in the musical La Dolce Diva. Miss Martini currently tours internationally with The Cabaret New Burlesque featured in the film “Tournee” directed by Mathieu Amalric (Winner of the Palme D’Or for Best Director and the International Film Critics Award 2010) bringing her to red carpets at Cannes Film Festival and the Cesar Awards in Paris where Frederic Mitterrand, French Minister of Culture, personally thanked her for bringing life to the 2010 Cannes festival. Miss Martini holds a BFA in Dance and Choreography from Purchase College and uses her extensive knowledge of dance and dance history in her teaching career.
